Peterson Training provides customized one-on-one personal training for seniors from the comfort of their own home or gym.

Lindsay is committed to helping older adults live their best lives. Her training and experience working in Physical Therapy clinics provides Lindsay with great empathy for folks managing chronic pain, movement dysfunction, Alzheimers/dementia, and all the subtleties that come with aging.

Lindsay continues to find great success helping clients in her specialities of: rehabilitative exercise for pain-free movement, cardiovascular and strength training, and corrective exercise for posture and improving balance.

Customized Online Training

How it works and Who’s it for

Online training allows clients to receive personalized, custom workouts delivered to them via an app called Trainerize, that you can use from either your phone or computer. Each exercise I give you has a corresponding video demonstrating the proper technique, with most of them done by me personally.

Many clients love this option for the increased flexibility as you workout on your own from wherever you are, while still getting the confidence knowing you are receiving the best programming for your individual goals. Monthly Zoom check-ins provide accountability and are a resource to answer any questions.

Cost

The Monthly cost for Online Training is $250/month, cancelable at any time (no contracts!) This includes a 30 minute Zoom call every month, unlimited messaging through Trainerize with your Trainer, and 2-4 workouts per week depending on your goals and preferences.

How to Begin

The first step in signing up for Online Training is to schedule a 30 minute phone consultation. This consultation is completely free and no-obligation. We will chat about your exercise history and goals, any aches/pains and movement limitations, what kind of equipment you have available, and how Trainerize works. If we seem like a good fit by the end, I will send you a link to set-up your Trainerize profile and your first workout will be inputed into you calendar within days! Monthly Program Subscription

How it works and Who’s it for

I have created several programs over the years as a trainer that are targeted for the general public who have a specific goal. These programs are great for individuals who may not need a lot of customization - who don’t have many aches and pains and are physically able to complete most general exercises. The programs are ‘Posture Program’ - aimed at improving our posture, ‘Toned Over 50’ - great for those looking to add strength and muscle as they age, and ‘Starter Strength’ - for those for whom it’s been a while since they exercised or who are totally new to exercise.

Over the years I have seen what gets results, what doesn’t, and how to package the former into an effective and easy to follow program.

Cost

The cost for signing up to one of these programs if $50/month. Most of them last 9-10 weeks. At the end of a program, you can either repeat the same one, change to a different program, change to Online Training, or cancel altogether.

Customized Training

Working with a qualified personal trainer ensures that the exercises you are doing are safe and effective for your individual needs and provides accountability to show up for your workouts! When you invest in your health and have someone who’s invested in you, positive results become readily obtainable.


​Each prospective client goes through an extensive assessment process that gives your trainer the necessary information to create a custom workout program focused on your individual goals. 


Cost

Personal Training: For In-Person Training, clients can expect to pay $75/session. Typically my clients are on a monthly billing cycle with reserved, recurring time slots each week, but session packages that work better with your schedule are also available.

Online Training: Online training clients get customized workouts delivered to them via an app for a monthly charge of $200.

Nutrition Coaching: A one-on-one nutrition coaching session is usually done virtually and is $100/session. For online clients, there is a nutrition coaching add-on for an extra $100/mo that provides personalized metrics for you to hit every week.

There are never any start-up fees or cancellation fees!

Complimentary Session

Prior to ever signing up for personal training or nutrition coaching, you and I will meet in my studio to talk about your individual goals and what you want to get out of working with me. For training, we will go through some simple movement assessments looking at your mobility, gait, and balance, which helps me select the best exercises for you and your goals. A nutrition consultation will include a survey assessment with our discussion that helps show both of us the areas we would likely address first.

This risk-free session gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you have and to decide if working with me is the right decision for you!

There is no complimentary session with online training.

Results

I have found great success working with clients specifically within my specialities of rehabilitative exercise and functional strength training. I work hard with you to define your individual goals, create exercise programs for you to meet those goals, and then reflect and re-asses as we reach them. Getting stronger and leaner and moving better with less pain are the most frequent results I see with clients. Having more energy, greater self-esteem, and increased cardiovascular capacity are some of the other common results my clients and I achieve together.

Your results will depend on your goals, which are always individual to your needs!
